Come celebrate Mother’s Day and the opening of the area’s largest farmers market on Sunday, May 10 when the Rhinebeck Farmers Market begins its 15th season.
In addition to the roster of returning vendors, the market welcomes four new ones: Amazing Real Live Food Co. makes fresh probiotic cheeses and ice cream and will be selling Ronnybrook Farm products; Dancing Ewe Farm (supplier to chef Mario Batalil) produces Tuscan style cheeses and spring lamb; Lynnhaven produces artisinal goat cheeses; and Creekside Acres will sell raw alpaca fiber and yarn. Also, the market is happy to welcome back Popovich Provisions!
Highlighting the Special Events Calendar this year....The Queens Galley and Share Our Strength will bring Operation Frontline to the Rhinebeck Farmers' Market for a 6 week Children’s Cooking & Nutrition Series which will take place on 6 consecutive Sundays from 11:00am-1:00pm from July 12th – Aug 16th. http://www.queensgalley.org/ Children ages 8-12 are invited to participate.
