Jam Making Demo this Sunday

Jam Making Demonstration and Tasting
with Jammer Julia Sforza of Half-Pint Preserves
Julia will go over the basics of canning berry jams from berry prep to ladling hot jam in jars and then processing in a boiling water bath to make them last until the cold winter. There is nothing like opening a jar of jewel-toned local berry jam in the dead of February. Make sure you capture the local season this summer. Julia will be making and sampling Black Currant Jam starting at noon.

Corn is now in season and all this hot, hot heat has made
for a very good year for delicious sweet corn.
